Winter 2019-2020 Class Schedule

Intermediate/Advanced Jazz
All Ages
Monday 6:00-7:00pm

Upper level jazz class for all ages with previous experience. In this class we will dig deeper into jazz dancing working on things such as turns, leaps, dance combinations, etc. Please wear clothing that is stretchy and comfortable to move in.

 

Ballet/Jazz Technique
Kindergarten-5th graders
Tuesday 5:00-6:30pm
Beginning Tuesday, December 3rd

This class will be 1 1/2 hours and consist of training in both ballet and jazz dance. During this class students will learn the basic steps of ballet and jazz in order to create a solid foundation in dance and technique. Class will consist of a warm up, stretching, across the floor work, and even a few short dance combinations. Please wear clothing that is stretchy and comfortable to move in.

Learn basic acting warm ups and techniques as well as what it takes to put on a show. Over the course students will learn how to best approach acting through various methods that work best for them. There will be a finished product of a performance either monologues or short skits.

Get ready to make the ultimate audition package! Throughout this course will pick the perfect monologue and song selection just for you! We will learn how to select material, how to sing our songs with an accompanist, the do’s and dont’s of auditioning, mock auditions, and so much more! Get ready to give your audition package the perfect polish!

Kids Yoga classes help children develop strong bodies, encourage healthy expression of emotions and calm, focused minds! Classes include playful movement, calming breathing techniques and story time. Poses are related to aspects of nature, such as trees, birds, and animals. Children learn to have fun while getting healthy.
