Communication and Theatre Arts
The Mission of the Theatre Arts Program is to provide students with a hands-on experience that incorporates theory and practice in the context of a liberal arts education while fostering ethically responsible, professionally-minded theatre artists to become practitioners, scholars, and educators.
The Theatre Education program is a secondary education teacher preparation program. The mission of the program is to provide candidates with a hands-on experience incorporating theory and practice in theatre arts to foster reflective and responsive educators who possess the knowledge, skills and dispositions to help all students learn.
The Mission of the Communication Arts Program is to provide students with an interdisciplinary experience incorporating theory and practice in the context of a liberal arts education that encourages personal growth and critical and creative thinking while fostering ethically responsible communicators who are prepared to meet their academic and professional goals.
