Technology is a powerful tool for teaching and learning. Access to technology creates opportunities to develop “new” literacies and engage in inclusive and collaborative relationships that help us bridge physical and sociocultural distances. A commitment to the meaningful and transformative use of technology is reflected in the teaching, scholarship and service of SoEHHP faculty. This commitment is evident in the design of our programs, the learning experiences of our students, and our collaborative work with our community.
Technology Integration at Fairmont State University opportunities to engage in digital learning and to use technologies to support meaningful learning are integrated throughout our undergraduate and graduate programs. Visit this showcase of technology integration to see samples of the ways students are using technology to teach and learn.
The School of Education, Health and Human Performance commitment to digital learning and the meaningful use of technology is represented in our new graduate program in Digital Media, New Literacies and Learning.
