Craftathon - Attention high school students! We want you to use the PC version of the game, Minecraft, to construct what a typical West Virginia city will look like 15 – 20 years in the future. We also want you to design the power source for your city. The focus of the event is on alternative energy resources, however, you are not bound by current technology (so fire up your cold fusion generators!). Get ready for an all-day event that will challenge your crafting skills! The event will be held on April 14, 2018 at 8:00 in the Falcon Center Conference Center. Please click on the link for more information and to register.
Business Etiquette Dinner - held at the Robert H. Mollohan Research Center in the I-79 Technology Park in Fairmont. The event begins with a “mocktail” reception at 6:00 pm followed by a seated multi-course meal at 6:30 pm. As each course is served, participants will learn the acceptable etiquette from Lyla Grandstaff, certified etiquette consultant. Student tickets are $25 and may be obtained in the School of Business office in room 111 Jaynes Hall. See Photo Gallery!
Finals Fuel - During Finals week the School of Business will be providing free snacks and beverages to students. A table will be setup outside the School of Business Office and students are encouraged to help themselves to ensure they have the proper fuel for final exams!
