The Sport Management curriculum at Fairmont State University produces graduates who understand sound business principles. They also learn the marketing principles especially important for successful sporting activities.
After a student chooses the Sport Management program, they have four options for a specific emphasis in sport management. Those options include:
- Sport Marketing & Promotions
- Athletic Administration & Coaching
- Sport Club & Fitness Management
- Sport Camp & Recreation Management
The Sport Management curriculum includes many of the basic business administration courses.
Students will also take classes in Sport Marketing & Promotions, Mass Communication, Race, Class & Gender in Popular Culture and Sport in Society.
Because Fairmont State University Sport Management student have a number of options for special emphasis within their degree program, they have the skills they need for countless positions. After graduation, Sport Management student are prepared for positions in:
