Fairmont State University’s Encova Career Development Center has partnered with the Marion County Humane Society to host a string of fundraising events on campus. Three major events will be held throughout the month of April until the beginning of May to help raise money for the Marion County Humane Society, which will be opening a larger, brand-new facility in the coming weeks to accommodate the large number of animals in their care.

Fairmont State University and Tygart Valley United Way have partnered once again for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. The event will honor the teachings and values of the late civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through volunteer work benefitting local agencies.

The Fairmont State University Center for Career Services and Civic Engagement will host the Spring Career Fair on Thursday, March 17 in the Falcon Center. The annual Career Fair is the largest networking event of the academic year, which allows for both students and alumni to engage with local and national employers.

Fairmont State University and the Tygart Valley United Way will honor the values and legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Thursday, January 13 through the MLK Day of Service benefitting three local agencies.
