Fairmont State University and the Tygart Valley United Way will honor the values and legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Thursday, January 13 through the MLK Day of Service benefitting three local agencies.
The Fairmont State University School of Fine Arts Department of Music will present the annual Fete de Noel Holiday Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Colebank Hall.

On Sunday, March 25, beginning at 2 p.m., the Fairmont State University Honors Program and women’s volleyball team will collaborate in honor of a good cause as they take part in the Soup Opera’s third annual walk-a-thon.
Fairmont State University’s American Institute of Architecture Students organization will be competing in the 2012 Canstruction competition in Charleston on Tuesday, March 6. While constructing an object made entirely out of cans is half the battle, the real focus of the event is battling hunger.
