Fairmont State University Extending Dates for On-Campus Orientation

Fairmont State University is extending its Welcome Wednesday on-campus orientation sessions to include four more dates throughout the summer.  

“We have hosted three Welcome Wednesday events so far, and students and their parents have told us time and time again just how happy they are to be here on campus to have this experience in person,” said Chris Sharps, Fairmont State Senior Director of Recruitment.

Annual Soar Awards Event to Provide Financial Assistance to First-Time Freshmen

First-time freshmen admitted to Fairmont State University for the 2021-2022 school year are eligible to receive a $500 annually renewable scholarship to help offset their educational costs.  

The financial assistance opportunity is part of the University’s annual SOAR Awards event, which was established in 2018 as an institutional commitment to student achievement and success.
