<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><item href="/news/2026/02/fairmont-state-universitys-master-architecture-program-awarded-8year-initial-accreditation.aspx" dsn="blogs"><featured/><pubDate>02/04/2026 10:30:03 AM</pubDate><title>Fairmont State University’s Master of Architecture program awarded 8-Year Initial Accreditation by the National Architecture Accrediting Board</title><description>Fairmont State University is pleased to announce that after the Master of Architecture Program achieved its three-year Initial Accreditation status in 2022, it has now been awarded its first term of Continuing Accreditation by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). This allows West Virginia’s only professional degree program in Architecture to continue to grow and develop for eight years before the next accreditation visit.
