Vets With Guitars (VWG) is a nonprofit organization that aims to reduce veteran suicide by providing free music lessons to local disabled veterans, including those suffering from physical ailments and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Run through the Clarksburg V.A., the local chapters of VWG provides free guitar instruction, a new acoustic guitar, and a guitar accessory kit. Weekly guitar lessons are individualized and designed to help students learn at their own pace. The program is staffed entirely by volunteers. All proceeds from this special concert will help support this local initiative.
