Fairmont State University’s Town and Gown Theatre is holding adult, teen, and child auditions for the summer production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".

Auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, presented by Fairmont State Town and Gown Players, will be held March 19 and 20 from 6:00-9:00 p.m., with callbacks on March 21, for grades nine through adults. 

The Fairmont State University Town & Gown Players will present the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl's "Matilda The Musical" in the Wallman Hall Theatre on the campus of Fairmont State.

The Fairmont State University Department of Humanities and the Masquers student theatre organization will present Us and Them on Tuesday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Wallman Hall Theatre on campus, with free admission for both showings.

The Fairmont State Academy for the Arts will virtually present “Could you Hug a Cactus?” and an original production titled “SHINE” on Saturday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. “Could You Hug A Cactus?” directed by Troy Snyder, Technical Director and Professor of Theatre at Fairmont State University, is based on the poems of Phillip Van Wagoner, the Book by Jessica Penzias and Music & Lyrics by Denver Casado.

Fairmont State University is excited to announce the upcoming performance of the West Virginia Dance Company (WVDC) at Wallman Hall Theatre on April 5th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are free of charge and the public is welcome to attend.

The initial spring semester theatre offering by the Fairmont State University School of Fine Arts and Masquers is Lucy Prebble's compelling dark comedy, "The Effect". The production will run February 28 through March 4 in the Wallman Hall Studio Theatre (Room 314) on the Fairmont State campus.

Fairmont State University’s Town & Gown Players is excited to return to Prickett's Fort Amphitheatre with To Kill a Mockingbird, based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. The plot and characters are loosely based on Lee's observations of her family and neighbors, and an event that occurred near her hometown in 1936, when she was 10 years old.

The Fairmont State University Town & Gown Summer Theatre has scheduled auditions for adults who would like to appear in “To Kill a Mockingbird” this summer at Prickett’s Fort State Park and in the fall on the main FSU campus.

Fairmont State University’s Town & Gown Players present “Children of Eden.” From musical theatre greats Stephen Schwartz (“Wicked,” “Godspell”) and John Caird comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith.

The Fairmont State University Town & Gown Players are hosting auditions for the show “Children of Eden,” which will be performed in June at Wallman Hall.

The directors, Troy Snyder and RJ Nestor, are seeking to fill 20 to 25 roles for adults (ages 16 and older) and eight to 10 roles for youth (ages 10 to 15). The choreographer is Susan Cato-Chapman. Performances will be June 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24 and 25 at Wallman Hall.
