Fairmont State University Town and Gown Theatre to host auditions for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

Fairmont State University’s Town and Gown Theatre is holding adult, teen, and child auditions for the summer production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".

Auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, presented by Fairmont State Town and Gown Players, will be held March 19 and 20 from 6:00-9:00 p.m., with callbacks on March 21, for grades nine through adults.

The Fairmont State University Town & Gown Players will present the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl's "Matilda The Musical" in the Wallman Hall Theatre on the campus of Fairmont State.

Fairmont State University’s Town & Gown Players is excited to return to Prickett's Fort Amphitheatre with To Kill a Mockingbird, based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. The plot and characters are loosely based on Lee's observations of her family and neighbors, and an event that occurred near her hometown in 1936, when she was 10 years old.

The Fairmont State University Town & Gown Players are hosting auditions for the show “Children of Eden,” which will be performed in June at Wallman Hall.

The directors, Troy Snyder and RJ Nestor, are seeking to fill 20 to 25 roles for adults (ages 16 and older) and eight to 10 roles for youth (ages 10 to 15). The choreographer is Susan Cato-Chapman. Performances will be June 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24 and 25 at Wallman Hall.
