The Celebration of Ideas Lecture Series at Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College continues Saturday, April 2, with the performance of the play “Bus Stop.”
In this warm and affecting hit comedy, William Inge examines some of the many faces of love. Sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs, the performance will take place at 8 p.m. April 2 in Wallman Hall Theatre on the main campus in Fairmont. For tickets, call (304) 367-4240. The community is invited to attend an International Welcome Reception from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, on the shared main campus of Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College.
Welcome Weekend, planned for Thursday, Aug. 19, through Sunday, Aug. 22, is a program designed by the Office of Student Affairs to provide incoming freshmen with their road map to start their college experience moving in the right direction. Classes for the fall 2010 semester begin Monday, Aug. 23.
