Quiz Bowl

Fairmont State University’s Honors Program hosted its annual Quiz Bowl on Saturday, October 19. Ten teams from West Virginia high schools competed for first place, including East Fairmont High School, Parkersburg High School, George Washington High School, Woodrow Wilson High School, Charleston Catholic High School, Liberty High School, Williamstown High School, and Nitro High School.

Fairmont State University’s Honors Program will host its annual Quiz Bowl at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.  Eight teams from West Virginia high schools will be competing for first place. The schools participating in this year’s competition are East Fairmont High School, Liberty High School, South Harrison High School, University High School and Woodrow Wilson High School.

The schools participating in this year’s competition were Cameron High School, East Fairmont High School, Liberty High School, River View High School, South Harrison High School, University High School and Woodrow Wilson High School.

The Fairmont State GEAR UP Partnership will host its annual High School Quiz Bowl Competitionon Saturday, March 5, in the Falcon Center Conference Rooms on the main campus. The event will begin at 8 a.m. and will conclude with an afternoon award ceremony. High schools participating this year include: Clay Battelle, Liberty, Lincoln, Webster Springs and University.
