The 27th Annual MVB/Fairmont State Athletic Association Golf Tournament was held Friday with a great turnout and support at Bridgeport Country Club. 

The tournament is one of the top fundraisers for the Fairmont State Athletic Department with net proceeds benefiting athletic scholarships. 

Every good partnership includes mutual respect and opportunities for both parties to succeed. For Fairmont State University and MVB Bank, the two have been working towards those goals and improving their communities along the way. 

On Thursday afternoon, Fairmont State business students took advantage of a unique opportunity to hear about industry trends and to gain insight into the job market they soon will be entering from local business leader, Larry Mazza.
