Erickson Alumni Center Open House
The Fairmont State Alumni Association is hosting welcome reception for Head Coach Jason Woodman as the Fighting Falcons prepare to kick off the 2013 football season.
Woodman and his staff will be available to meet and greet Falcon Fans during the event scheduled for 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at the Erickson Alumni Center. Admission is free and open to the public. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be available.
Alumni and friends of FSU football gathered on April 25th to catch the annual maroon & white game. There was a great crowd! On Friday, April 26th fans showed their support by participating in the Friends of Football Golf Tournament at Green Hills. There were over 120 golfers and all proceeds benefited FSU football.

FSU Alumni gathered on April 13th at the National Pastime Bar and Grill in the Gaylord National Harbor. It was a great night of food, fun and friends and there is a lot of excitement in the air for the next event! Over 85 FSU alumni and friends gathered at the Embassy Suites Athletic Club in Charleston, WV to celebrate the success of our basketball teams during the WVIAC Conference Basketball Tournament.
Students, faculty and fans are invited to the Falcon Center at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, to celebrate the success of the men's and women's basketball teams this season. The celebration will take place in front of The Nickel, which is located on the second floor of the Falcon Center.
Coaches from both teams and President Rose are expected to congratulate the players and address the fans for exceptional 2012-13 seasons.
Fairmont State University students have an opportunity to ride a 55-passenger bus to Charleston today, March 2, to watch the Fighting Falcons men's and women's basketball teams compete in WVIAC Championship games.
The bus leaves at 10 a.m. from the parking lot beside Duvall-Rosier Field. Students should arrive at 9:30 a.m.; seats are first-come, first-served. There is no cost for riding the bus, but students will need to bring $5 for game tickets.
