Gary K. Bennett Accounting Excellence Scholarship
  • Full-time Junior level student
  • Major in Accounting
  • Minimum overall grade point average of 3.5 for consideration
  • Renewable senior year if student retains minimum GPA
Glenn A. Harman Accounting Excellence Scholarship
  • Full-time junior student majoring in accounting who demonstrates outstanding promise
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 and deemed the most appropriate candidate
  • Financial need may be considered
  • Preference may be given to students from West Virginia
Donald Hoylman Impact Scholarship
  • Students must have completed at least one year of study and be enrolled for classes in the FSU School of Business with a minimum overall GPA of 2.5
  • Students must declare their major as Business or Accounting
  • Renewable but not guaranteed
  • To be used for tuition/fees/books/room and board
  • Selection to be made by the Dean of the School of Business and his/her representatives
  • Preference may be given to students who have expressed interest in starting a business

The LeDonne Family Accounting Scholarship
  • Graduate from a high school located in Marion or Monongalia County in West Virginia
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Enrollment in the School of Business with primary preference given to incoming freshman who has declared Accounting major
  • 2.5 high school GPA minimum and combined SAT score of 1020 or ACT composite score of 22
  • Renewable with maintenance of 3.0 minimum GPA
  • Preference given to student who received award the previous year
  • Intent to provide a four-year scholarship to one student
  • Must maintain 3.0 GPA at FSU and be on track to graduate in four years
  • Award must be used to cover tuition or room and board

  • Financial need

  • Major of Business

Pallotta Family Scholarship in Memory of James V. & Ruth Pallotta
  • Students from Marion, Monongalia, or Preston county
  • 3.0 or greater GPA
  • First preference for students majoring in Nursing, Engineering, Business or Education
  • Renewable provided student maintain a 3.0 GPA and meet other selection criteria
The Anthony J. and Josephine Pitrolo Endowed Scholarship
  • Must not be receiving any other scholarship or aid from the Foundation
  • Full-time
  • Major: Business and Economics
  • Preference will be given to Marion County high school graduates, but recipients need not be exclusively from the county
Woodrow A. Potesta Scholarship of Accounting
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • High school GPA of 2.0
  • Accounting major
  • Renewable up to four years with a maximum 2.0 GPA (up to 2.5 if need be)
  • Preferable but not required that the recipient be a resident of the western portion of Green County, Pa.; Monongalia County or Marion County, W.Va. If no student is eligible from these counties, a student from West Virginia must be selected for the scholarship

Rusty and Kimberly Hutson Family Endowed Scholarship
  • Students from Lincoln High School in Harrison County, WV
  • Second preference to any student from Harrison County

  • Essay required that shows the student's uniqueness, volunteer experience, situational differences and career interests
  • Renewable providing the student maintains a 3.0 grade point average
