Chelsea Collins, APRN

Director of Student Health

Chelsea Collins is the Director of Student Health and an AANP Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Marshall University for undergraduate studies where she received a BA in Adult Fitness. She also has a BSN from Waynesburg University and a MSN from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She comes to Fairmont State University after spending the last several years working in women’s health and gynecology. Chelsea is availble daily to see students for: contraceptive management and sexual health, screening and treatment of STDs, primary care needs, urgent care complaints and preventative medicine and promotion of mental wellness. Prior to her time in gynecology, she spent several years in the Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse. She has experience in a wide variety of medical complaints. She enjoys supporting healthy decisions that lead to the prevention of illness. She has a sincere love for the work she does in Student Health. She wants her patients to know she is a safe zone. She finds peace spending time with her son, Cooper John, and stays active by riding her Peloton. A native of Morgantown, Chelsea has adoration for West Virginia and the people in this great state.

Angie Hager, PA-C

Physician’s Assistant

Angie Hager has practiced as a Physician Assistant in a local primary care clinic for over 20 years. She has taken care of a large demographic of patients ranging from elderly to children. She has an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in English from WVU. After graduation, she attended Alderson Broaddus College and obtained her Master of Science as a Certified Physician Assistant (MSPAC). Angie decided 2 years ago to join FSU as a part-time provider in Student Health. She specializes in taking care of the students primary health care needs through diagnosis and treatment. Angie is from the small town of Farmington, West Virginia and has lived in Fairmont for the last 20 years. She is very family oriented and has raised 3 children (25, 19 and 16) with her husband, Chad. She is dedicated to making sure everyone treated in student health at Fairmont State feels comfortable and secure in their experience.

Natasha Wamsley, APRN

Family Nurse Practitioner

Natasha Wamsley is an AANC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been serving Fairmont State University students in the Student Health Center since 2019. She is also an adjunct faculty member in the School of Nursing where she is educating the next generation of nurses. She attended Ohio University for undergraduate studies where she received a BSN and obtained her MSN at Walden University. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor and Childbirth Educator. She comes to Fairmont State University after spending the last several years working in family medicine and women’s health. She takes great interest in sexual health, pregnancy prevention, preventative medicine, and the overall health of her patients. Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Natasha spent several years in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and the Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse. She has a true heart for FSU students and the Fairmont State community. Natasha is grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference in every person's life that she encounters. She and all of student health services are a safe zone. Born in Buckhannon, Natasha enjoys the great outdoors, sunshine, sweet tea, and summertime! She looks forward to greeting you in the Health Center with a smile and identifying how she can help make your life healthier!
