Native of Clarksburg, WV. Graduated from Clemson University School of Architecture in 1968. Served 4 years in the US Navy. Worked for Wiliam Grant, Architect; Giese Engineering and Whalen L. King, Architect before becoming a Principal with WYK Associates, Inc in 1975. Served as a Principal in that firm for 36 years, including 15 years as Principal In Charge. Provided architectural services for a broad cross section of projects including K-12 schools, commercial projects, healthcare projects, manufacturing facilities, churches, multi-family housing and private residences. Project architect for award winning projects, the most recent of which is the Gabor Folklife Center on the Fairmont State University Campus. Retired from fulltime practice in 2012. In addition to serving as an adjunct, member of the board of directors of the Clarksburg Farmers Market and the Stonewall Jackson Civil War Roundtable, and have sung with the Madrigal Singers of Clarksburg for more than twenty five years.
