Orin is a full time intern architect and project manager at Omni Associates Architects in Fairmont. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Fairmont State University in 2007 and his Master of Architecture from Miami University in 2010. Orin discovered his passion of teaching while holding a graduate assistantship at Miami where he helped students develop their drawing and graphic skills through traditional drawing methods and the introduction of basic computer programs. He has instructed as an adjunct faculty member at Fairmont State since 2011 in the courses of Architectural Graphics, Portfolio Development, and most recently Building Technology II. Orin is most interested in the space where the lines between art and architecture blur but also can get caught up in the fine details of how all the parts can come together to make something beautiful. Orin has worked on various projects types including medical, financial, commercial, civic, hospitality, and spiritual building design, but has recently discovered he enjoys educational facility design the most. In his spare time, Orin studies for the Architecture Registration Exam and enjoys woodworking, traveling, practicing yoga, and getting outdoors when he can.
