Michael currently works out of the Educator Resource Center at NASA’s IV&V Program in Fairmont, which is operated through a grant with Fairmont State University.  As the Robotics Education Specialist and Program Manager for the STARS Grant from WVDE’s Office and Diversion and Transition Programs, he enjoys making opportunities in robotics education accessible for some of West Virginia’s most vulnerable K-12 students and the educators that serve in their schools. Michael is a graduate of Marshall University where he studied Applied Mathematics, Math Education, and Special Education.

What do you like best about teaching at Fairmont State: 

I most thoroughly enjoy the unique partnership between Fairmont State and NASA that allows all of West Virginia’s students and teachers to have access to an incredible array of high-quality STEM based curriculum, programs, competitions.
