On January 25, 1982, Lesli-Ann was born in the suburbs of New York. She attended Spackenkill Public Schools. She received her Associate of Applied Science from Dutchess Community College in New York. She attended Fairmont State University and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science. Because of her interest in helping students, while at Fairmont State University, she participated in GEAR-UP, a youth program to introduce young students to the field of forensic science, as a student counselor. A newcomer to the environmental health arena, Lesli-Ann joined the staff of the Putnam County Health Department in February 2006 and fights the ongoing problems with public water systems. Although she spends her life in upstate New York, she enjoys photography and escaping to the islands to snorkel. She acclaims the teaching staff at Fairmont State as remarkable and credits her success equally to them. The teachers are always available for the students, she says.
