Mission Statement

The mission of the Computer Science / Cybersecurity program is to provide the students with the knowledge and problem-solving skills required for a successful career and/or graduate study in the computing/cybersecurity field. Graduates have the ability to communicate effectively, to teach themselves new skills and to adapt to an ever-changing technological environment. Graduates will be able to properly deal with the social, legal and ethical issues that will inevitably arise in their chosen profession.

Program Goals

  • The graduates of the Computer Science / Cybersecurity program will be well prepared to find employment in the computing/cybersecurity and/or pursue graduate studies.
  • The graduates of the Computer Science / Cybersecurity program will be familiar with current technology/trends in computing/cybersecurity and have the ability to learn and use new languages and tools.
  • The graduates of the Computer Science / Cybersecurity program will demonstrate the ability to function effectively on teams to design and implement software systems.

Student Learning Outcomes
