Professor Nestor joined the Fairmont State University faculty in 1997 and holds degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A.) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) (M.A., Ph.D.). In addition she spent one year in England at London University, and several summers in London researching early woman writers and the origins of the modern British novel. She was the first professor at Fairmont State to teach a course entirely online and continues to offer her World literature class on Blackboard. She also teaches narrative literature of all kinds, and British literature from the Enlightenment to the present day.
Her other passions include working on her house, riding her horse, playing with her dog, and traveling to warm places.
