David Abruzzino is the Director of the Open Source Intelligence Exchange at Fairmont State University, as well as an instructor in the University's National Security and Intelligence Program. A veteran of the US Intelligence Community, Dave's career included assignments with the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Department of State, the staff of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Department of the Treasury-- where Secretary Geithner awarded him the department's Meritorious Service Award in 2009.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, and has completed graduate work at the Joint Military Intelligence College and the George Washington University. He also is a candidate for the Master of Arts degree in Military History from American Military University.

Dave grew up in Harrison County, and resides on a small farm in Salem with a cat, two dogs, and several chickens.
