FYE Passport Activity: Personal Health and Safety Plan

Event Date:
Mon, 09/11/2017 - 9:00am - 10:00am
Education Building 303

Fairmont State students’ health and safety needs include understanding where to find resources that enhance personal health. In this session, students will learn about campus services so they may create a plan for their personal health and safety. In their plan, students will: identify services available at Student Health, Counseling, and Disability Services; describe how they may use University services to address mental health, infectious disease, or healthy sexuality behaviors; discuss at least one email message that shares information about a University service or activity; analyze the extent to which the food available on campus will meet their nutritional and affordability needs; describe how they will keep themselves safe on and off campus; and, evaluate their personal attitudes toward smoking, tobacco use, and/or e-cigarettes.
