I chose Fairmont State University because it was a smaller school that really cared about the student’s success. The professors were always looking for the best interests for their students and best methods to teach the newest information.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
I would have to say my favorite spot would be in front of the Turley Center. You are able to look one way to see the oldest building on campus (Hardway Hall) and look in the other way to see the Bell and the Fountain. During the Spring, you can also see the cherry blossom trees leading to the Falcon Center.
What is your best piece of advice for prospective students?
Don’t be afraid to talk to talk to yor professors and advisors! This allows them to get to know you and your goals. This also allows you to be able to ask questions when you are unsure. The Faculty and Staff are here to help you achieve your dreams.
Other than your major, what Fairmont State major do you find most interesting?
I would have to say the major at Fairmont State University that I find the most interesting would be…Architecture. The design of the program itself and how in a little over a year after completing your Bachelors, you can get your Masters.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about myself is that I am an Advisor for two student organizations on campus. Each student organization holds a place in my heart and I learn a lot from the students in each of them.
