1. The assignment of facilities for college operations is the responsibility of the Assistant to the President with the assistance of the Facilities Administration Council as provided in No. 2 of this manual.
2. Any of the following changes must be approved by the Assistant to the President.
a. Any change in the function of any space or facility (e.g. from classroom to office space).
b. Any change in the school or unit having primary use of a facility (e.g. the reassignment of an office from the School of Science and Math to the School of Technology).
c. Any substantial modification or change in a space or facility (e.g. the erection or removal of a partition).
d. Any assignment or reassignment of faculty or other personnel to specific office space.
3. The Assistant to the President will present items from the list above to the Facilities Administration Council for its consideration when appropriate.
4. Any transfer of major office equipment (e.g. desks, desk chairs, file cabinets) from one office to another must be approved by the Vice President for Administration and Finance.
