The link to the right is our new production request pdf file for you to reproduce as needed. These forms will help us meet your deadlines, prepare your job properly for output and answer questions to help you and the Design Team save time and money.

• Publications that are part of the institutional publications plan are our main focus. These publications are primarily those intended for off campus distribution, relating to the admissions and recruiting process.

• If you are working on a publication that is intended for off-campus distribution, please contact the Office of Public Relations before sending your production request to the Design Team. The Director of Public Relations reviews content for these publications for consistency and institutional standards before we begin the layout and design process. This attention assists both you and the institution in producing an accurate publication. The affirmative action statement (Fairmont State is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action institution) should be included in these publications.

• It is important to plan ahead for your job. We will work with you to produce a quality publication that meets both your goals and budget. We work with the Campus Copy Center, unless your job requires outside printing. If your job requires outside printing, based on quantity and specifications, we allow the printer 13 working days to complete a job.

• Copy should be edited and corrected before we begin the layout and design process. Our office does not provide writing or editing services. If you need help with this, please contact the Office of Public Relations. Your job will be assessed a $25.00 charge if excessive editing changes occur during proofing.

• We require your text files to be unformatted and in Microsoft Word. Electronic photograph files, TIFF (.tif) or JPEG (.jpg), need to be 300 dpi (dots per inch) for printed or copied reproduction.
