Photo Release Form

Photographs taken of Fairmont State students, faculty or staff at Fairmont State are generally considered to have been  made on public property at a public event and can be utilized for legitimate Fairmont State purposes. However, some subjects may not wish to have their images used especially if they are the singled out and easily identifiable.

It is always prudent to obtain a signed photo release form. This is especially true if the subject is not a Fairmont Sate student or employee. It is necessary to have a parent or guardian sign the release if the subject is a minor.

Fairmont State University will grant the non-exclusive right and permission for a one-time use of specific photographs.
