There are numerous reasons to live on campus. The most obvious one is location. Your classes, professors, activities, and friends are all next door. Not to mention the new Falcon Center, which offers state-of-the art fitness equipment, a pool, indoor track, and two indoor courts. The library is merely a stroll away. And if you want to hit the town, the Fairmont-Marion Transit Authority will pick you up on campus, as it offers free transportation to the Fairmont, Clarksburg, and Morgantown areas with a valid student ID.
But at Fairmont State, we believe the residence experience should extend beyond convenient location. We strive to keep our facilities up-to-date. Our halls offer various amenities to make you feel comfortable and at home. In addition, the staff offers events and activities to help you relax, have fun, and make new friends.
