COURSE REQUIREMENTS - 

Courses vary according to the program of study each student designs.  Generally, however, students take two Honors courses each semester during their first two years at Fairmont State.  At minimum, they need 22 to 24 credit hours in Honors courses to complete the Honors Program.  The cirriculum can be divided into two categories - liberal studies classes and specialized courses.

  • Honors Orientation  .......................................  1 credit hour

  • Honors Humanities  .......................................  6 credit hours
  • Honors Science or Math  ..............................  3-5 credit hours
