Implementation Funding Overview:

For FY 2007, $250,000 was made available to fund the Strategic Plan.

The Strategic Plan Steering Committee met in mid-October, 2006, to allocate funds to help accomplish our goals. Of the $250,000 available $224,000 has been allocated so far.  Major items funded include:

• Institutional Research Position (Bill Finley started in mid-October.)
• Image study.

Money was also approved as follows:

• $10,000 for Faculty Professional Development aligned with Goal 1
• $18,500 for a coordinator for staff professional development. This person will be located in the Center for Workforce Education and will help us to begin offering a wide array of development programs for our staff.
• $10,000 for marketing our graduate programs
• $18,500 for clerical support of our Community Education Program.
• $5,000 for Fine Arts outreach efforts
• $4,500 for Faculty Development in individual disciplines with community partners (RSEED grants)
• $12,250 for 7 kiosks (5 permanent, 2 temporary) for campus
• $250 for microwave for the faculty/staff lunchroom in the Falcon Center Boardroom
