OVERVIEW OF THE COMMUNICATION PROGRAM

The Department of Communication and Theatre Arts offers the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Required courses introduce the student to the various special areas of speech as an academic discipline:  interpersonal, organizational and group communication, rhetoric, oratory, and debate. This is a liberal arts degree which can be paired with any minor desired by the student. The Department also provides a minor for the student with an interest in speech communication. The program of study provides a balance among the various areas of academic speech studies.
