FSU Graduate Finds First Job in Familiar Setting

A Fairmont State University graduate found his first professional opportunity on his alma mater’s campus. Clarence B. Pearson, III is an applications developer for the institution. An intimate classroom environment attracted him to FSU. As a student, Pearson was a stand out in the School of Business and as President of the Information Systems Student Organization at Fairmont State University.

“The first impression I had of Fairmont State University was that it’s a very small, close campus. Because the class sizes were smaller, it’s easier to stand out.” His Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems has helped him excel in the University’s Information Technology Department.
