IT Services has recently been working to improve some of its automated back-end processes. The first work has occurred on distribution group maintenance. If, from Outlook, you attempt to send to one of the distribution groups (for instance, "* FSU All Employees") and the message appears to bounce back with an error, the TLC needs to help you rebuild your Outlook cache.
During the week of October 13, IT will be making necessary changes to the email system. Each day, we'll update MyCampus with the changes and likely effects.
IT will be performing important server maintenance this weekend, affecting the following:
Departmental shared drives (M: drive) will be unavailable from 6 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2014, until migration is complete.
U: drives will be unavailable beginning once the M: drive maintenance is complete.
These outages may continue until Sunday, September 28, 2014, at 6 p.m.
No other systems will be affected by this maintenance.
