Connect to Campus_User Wireless with Windows 7
Connect to Campus_User Wireless with Windows Vista
Connect to Campus_User Wireless with Mac or iPad:

Accept Certificate (wireless.fairmontstate.edu)

Enter UCA and Password (students enter UCA@students)
Connect to Campus_User Wireless with an Android Device:

Connecting to the Cloud
The Library and many computer labs on campus are in the process of being connected to the Cloud. Faculty and staff will continue to connect to the FAIRMONTSTATE domain, and students connect to the STUDENTS domain.
Laptops, tablets and other devices may be connected to the Cloud by following the instructions below.
Windows Laptops (32 bit): Follow these instructions to connect to the Cloud using a Windows laptop.

Connect to the Campus_User wireless network

Download VMware-viewclient-4.6.0-366101.exe

The Installation Wizard will open

Click Next
-
Click Next
-
Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement"

Click Next
-
Custom Setup - click Next
-
Default Server - click Next
-
Enhanced Single Sign-On - click Next
-
Configure Shortcuts - click Next
-
Click Install
-
Click Finish
-
Click Yes to restart your computer

After restarting, double-click on the VMware View Client icon on the desktop

Under Connection Server, enter cloud.fairmontstate.edu or cloud.pierpont.edu

Check the box "Login as current user"

Click Connect

Download and install the free VMware View app from the App Store

Click Add View Connection Server

Enter host name cloud.fairmontstate.edu or cloud.pierpont.edu

Enter Username (UCA) and Password when prompted

Under Domain, select FAIRMONTSTATE for faculty and staff or STUDENTS for students

Click Done

Android Tablet/Phone: Follow these instructions to connect to the Cloud using an Android tablet or phone.

Connect to the Campus_User wireless network

Download and install the VMWare View Tech Preview (free) from the Android Market

Select Add View Connection Server
-
Server name - cloud.fairmontstate.edu or cloud.pierpont.edu

Server description - click Done
-
Click Connect
-
Enter UCA, Password, and select the type of desktop to connect to (STUDENTS, FAIRMONTSTATE, OR LABS)

Select the desired desktop image
How to Map a Network Drive

Connect to Campus_User wireless
-
Under the Start Menu, select "Computer"

Click on "Map network drive".

Under Drive: select the drive you wish to connect to (M: or U:)

In the Folder: field, type \\pftfs001\users\yourUCA
-
Check Reconnect at logon

Click Finish
