Hometown:
Parkersburg, West Virginia
High School:
Parkersburg South High School
Why Attend?:

I knew that I wanted to pursue Civil Engineering. Only three schools in state offer the program. WV Tech was too small; WVU was too big, and so here I am.

Most Surprised:

I was surprised how much they let you go in college. You kind of have to figure out the way the campus works by experience. It a big contrast to the ‘do this do that’ of high school.

Experiences:

With the Honors program it's been great to have some people to help show you the ropes. Also many people have offered to help with class problems. They are very open to help and are very kind.

Advice:

If you are looking for a college I would say to make sure the dorms are a place you would be willing to spend a lot of time in.

Difference between courses:

I haven't noticed a lot of differences from high school, except that you have more time to work on homework.
