Hometown:
Rachel, West Virginia
High School:
North Marion High School.
Why Attend?:

It’s a smaller school, less crowded than WVU. I also wanted to go somewhere closer to my home, which Fairmont State is. Also, it was close to my sister’s house at the time, though it no longer is.

Most Surprised:

The classes are much different than I expected. They’re far more like high school classes than I had expected.

Experiences:

I like it so far, it’s much better than I expected. The smaller classes are much easier for me to handle than I previously did. The Honors teachers are helpful and friendly, I really enjoy it. And the other Honors students are more like me than I’m used to with classmates, which I enjoy a lot.

Advice:

Try to find somewhere that works for you, not a big fancy college, but one better for your needs, and try to find one close to home.

Difference between courses:

Yes, they’re smaller, more discussion oriented, and overall more enjoyable.
