At this point in my college career the Honors program has been a huge asset. The classes are smaller, there are various extra-curricular activities available for Honors students, and finally Honors students get priority scheduling. I think priority scheduling is great. It allows you to sign up for all of your desired classes before the rest of the freshmen.  The classes are very similar to high school classes. I went to a very small school, where most of my classes had around fifteen to twenty students. The honors classes I have taken are similar in size, and like in high school you get more individual assistance from the professors.
