Application Process:

            Applicants must submit the following to the Marshall University Admission Office:

·         Graduate Application (available from the Marshall University Graduate Admissions Office.

·         Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate course work sent directly from the college or university.

·         Graduate Record Examination scores if undergraduate GPA is less than 3.25.

·         Verification of current unencumbered license as RN in a US jurisdiction.

·         MSN Nursing Application

Regular Admission

            For regular admission to the program, applicants must meet the following   admission requirements:

·         Baccalaureate degree with a nursing major from an accredited program. Applicants who are graduates of programs outside the accrediting jurisdiction will be evaluated on an individual basis.

·         Undergraduate course credit for basis statistics and basic research.

·         Scholastic achievement as evidenced by an overall grade point average (undergraduate/graduate and aptitude for graduate study as indicated by the Graduate Record Examination (GRE not required if undergraduate GPA is 3.25 or above). Evidenced of a current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in a US jurisdiction.

Provisional Admission

            An applicant may be considered for provisional admission if the:
