Fairmont State’s Online Payment System makes authorizing financial aid awards and paying bills easier and more convenient for students and their families.

The Online Payment System can be accessed by logging on to https://webfors.fairmontstate.edu.epay. Students must use their Unified College Account (UCA) number and password to access the service.

The web service allows students to view an online statement that shows the amount of their financial aid award and accept that award (which is required and has been done in the past with a paper form). Students can then give authorization online to allow their financial aid award to go toward their bill (which is required) and pay online using a credit card, electronic check or the Fairmont State Installment Plan Service (FIPS). The system immediately updates students’ accounts online.

Students can enroll in FIPS on the web site. The service allows students to break their charges into four installments per semester after 100 percent of their financial aid is processed. There is a $15 charge for enrolling in FIPS.

The Online Payment System also allows students to verify their permanent address for the mailing of difference checks (which are checks for the amount of money left over from students’ financial aid award that does not go toward their bill for the semester). Difference checks cannot be released any earlier than 10 days before the start of classes.
