LEGO Robotics Day Camp
LEGO Robotics Day Camp

Ready. Set. Build!!! You and your team
will design, build and program your robot
to perform a set of specific tasks.
On the final day, your robot will be put
to the test as you compete with other
teams on the Challenge Course. Using
LEGO Mindstorm kits, you will learn
about computers, engineering and robotics
as you discover how they are
used in amazing ways throughout our
community. This is a residential camp
for current 9th and 10th graders.

High School Piano Camp
High School Piano Camp

June 14-19

A residential camp for current 9th and 10th
graders who have experience playing the piano
and would like to experience studying with college
faculty. Contact

Pricketts Fort Summer Camp American Indian Culture
Pricketts Fort Summer Camp American Indian Culture

Hands on crafts and historical activities.
Spend three days from 10 am—4 pm and one
overnight at Pricketts Fort State Park. Open
to students completing grades 6-12.

$100 covers the cost of all project materials
and meals.

ArtSmarts Camp
ArtSmarts Camp

July 13-20


A nine day residential camp directed by the
FSU School of Fine Arts. The camp focuses
on the interests of the GEAR UP students in
such areas as dance, instrumental and vocal
music, visual arts, and theatre. The camp culminates
in presentation of the student’s work.
To participate, you must be a current 9th or
10th grade GEAR UP student. For more information,
contact the School of Fine Arts at

Project AMPLE
Project AMPLE Extended

A summer enrichment program in
science, mathematics, and technology. It
consists of a two-week residential
summer experience for current 9th
grade students in GEAR UP high
schools. For additional info, go to

Future Teachers Academy
Future Teachers Academy

The Future Teachers Academy is a four
day residential program geared to identify
and recruit students into the most needed
teaching specialties, e.g., math, science,
foreign languages, special education, multicultural
education, etc. Camp is open to
current 10th grade GEAR UP students.
