Goal 1 - Empower faculty and students to achieve high levels of teaching and learning.
Action Step 1: Support teaching and learning as the central focus of the institution.

Office of Institutional Research

Retention Rates; Graduation Rates; Passage Rates on Licensure/National Exams; Employment in Field Assessment Team re-convened in Fall 2007, charged to assure that programs identify outcomes and assessment measures; these are posted on the web.

Liberal Studies Committee identified courses that fulfill LS outcomes; these are being checked for assessments. Office of Institutional Research will analyze DFW rates to compare data over 5 year period following implementation of Outcomes Based Instruction. Office of Institutional Research will track persistence toward degree following implementation of Outcomes Based Instruction

E. Verify that expectations of excellence are fully publicized and that all faculty and students are familiar with them.
