Complete Your Business Degree through Evening Classes at the Caperton Center

Starting in the fall, students who live and work in Harrison County will have the opportunity to complete a four-year degree in Business Administration at the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg by taking evening classes.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a General Business Concentration will be offered with a new schedule option starting in August 2015--weekday evening classes that begin at 4 or 5:30 p.m. each day--at the Caperton Center, 501 W. Main St., Clarksburg.

The Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg will be one of 19 locations throughout the state to host the annual College Goal SundaySM event on Sunday, Feb. 12, presented by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission. Students and parents can receive assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) during the free workshops.

Campus Bookstore to Host Book Signing on Feb. 24

The Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College Bookstore is hosting a book signing for a new book by an FSU adjunct faculty member. Dr. Dennis D. Wainstock teaches history at the Gaston Caperton Center in Clarksburg. He will sign copies of his book, “The Decision to Drop the Atomic Bomb: Hiroshima and Nagasaki 1945,” from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at the bookstore located on the second floor of the Falcon Center on the main campus.
