The Falcon Center on the shared main campus of Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College is hosting a Fitness Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.
This fall, Fairmont State University students had an opportunity to be the first student in recent history to have their artwork featured on the University president’s holiday card. Students were asked to submit a drawing, photograph or digital image that they created to appear on the card.
Mark your calendars for some musical inspiration and entertainment on the Fairmont State University Campus. Activities are sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and are free to attend.
Live at Lunch, featuring FSU Student Chris Hansen, will be held on Tuesday, September 27 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Main Street in the Falcon Center.
Martin A. “Monty” Burdoff met with officials from Fairmont State University and the Fairmont State Foundation, Inc. for the official signing of a donor agreement that will provide funding for renovations and upgrades to the Falcon Center in memory of his son, Dustin Burdoff.
Dustin Burdoff, a Fairmont State University student who enjoyed spending time in the Falcon Center and had many friends in the campus community, passed away Sept. 4, 2010, and was posthumously awarded degree from the Fairmont State University School of Business during the May 2011 Spring Commencement.
The Falcon Center will remain open until 7 p.m. today, Jan. 26, and will then close due to the weather conditions. The building will open at 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, weather permitting. The Dining Hall will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. today. The Nickel will close at 4 p.m. today. All other retail areas are now closed.
The Office of Information Technology would like to make all students aware that they are welcome to use the computer lab located on the third floor of the Falcon Center in the hallway across from the Dining Hall.
This summer, the Falcon Center at Fairmont State University will offer a Summer Day Camp featuring eight, single-week, full-day sessions for children ages 6 to 12.
