A Fairmont State University Art student and two recent Art graduates have been selected to be part of the Tamarack Foundation show “Emerge,” featuring the artwork of 18 students and recent graduates from college and university art programs across the state of West Virginia.
The Fairmont State University School of Fine Arts opens its spring 2015 gallery season with “clear, hold, build,” a solo show by FSU faculty member Jeremy Entwistle. The exhibit is on display through Thursday, Feb. 12, in the J.D. Brooks Gallery, located on the fourth floor of Wallman Hall.
Entwistle received his B.F.A. from Alfred University in 1998 and his M.F.A. from West Virginia University in 2007 and is currently coordinating the FSU sculpture and foundry department.
The Fairmont State University 2014 Student Juried Exhibition runs through Friday, April 25, in the J.D. Brooks Gallery, located on the fourth floor of Wallman Hall.
Students in the Fairmont State School of Fine Arts Foundry and Sculpture Program participated with sculpture students and faculty from West Virginia University and Shepherd University in an iron pour at FSU.
