Thirty-two area young people take the stage as Fairmont State University’s Town & Gown Players kick off the summer theatre season with two short family-friendly musicals performed on June 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. and June 5 at 2 p.m. in Wallman Hall Theatre.

The Fairmont State University Collegiate Singers and the Fairmont State University Community Chorus, directed by Dr. Sam Spears, will present a performance of Gioachino Rossini’s “Petite Messe Solennelle” at First Presbyterian Church, 301 Jackson St., Fairmont, at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3. Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be collected.
On Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m., the Fairmont State University Chamber Choir, directed by Dr. Sam Spears, will present a concert, “Rhapsody,” at the Fairmont First Presbyterian Church, 301 Jackson St., Fairmont. The concert is free and open to the public.
