Fairmont State University 5K Turkey Trot is a traditional 5K (3.1 miles) road race around the University's Campus. The winners will receive traditional Thanksgiving Turkeys as prizes.
DATE & TIME
8:00am - Race Day Check In (Falcon Center Main Lobby)
8:45am - Race Briefing (Falcon Center Main Lobby)
9:00am - Race Starts (See Section below for course details)
Award Ceremony - Following the race in Falcon Center Gym 1

The 5K Turkey Trot course will start in front of Colebank Hall.
The course will follow the sidewalk passing the library, Hunt Haught Hall, up past Feaster Center, Duval Rosier Field, down by Prichard Hall, Parking Garage, (then on to the road) passing One Room Schoolhouse Museum following the road to the start.
The participants will repeat this loop THREE times to complete the 5K (3.1 Miles)

The race is FREE and each registered runner will recieve a free gift bag with chances to win door prizes.

Awards will be givin to top male and female in the following categories:
1. Top Male Student
2. Top Female Student
3. Other (Faculty/Staff & Facility Members)
Traditional Thanksgiving Turkeys will be given out as awards.
Door prizes will be raffled off after awards are presented.
