As soon as you realize that your ID Card is missing, please report it to Campus Card Services immediately. Your ID Card will be deactivated instantly to prevent any unauthorized use. There will be a $20 replacement fee to replace your ID Card.
No. Name changes are free! However, you will need to make the change in Enrollment Services first, then come to Campus Card Services (it takes between 1-3 hours for the change to take effect). We reserve the right to ask for identity verification.
No. As long as there is no damage to the card, a faded card will be replaced for free (Campus Card Services will verify).
If your card is damaged, please visit Campus Card Services to have a replacement card issued ($20). Please do not tape or glue your card back together, this will only cause more damage to your card and to the readers (swipes).
It is very important that you take care of your ID Card to ensure that it will always work appropriately. Also, please keep your card in a secure location away from other magnetic cards that may deactivate your ID Card.

Falcon Dollars is money that you put on your ID Card to use as for various services/products around campus.
FSU students, faculty, and staff can add money to their ID Card at FSU Student Services, located in The Turley Center (304-367-4141 or 304-367-3748). Pierpont Community and Technical Colelge students, faculty, and staff can add money to their ID Card at PC&TC Student Services in Hardway or by calling 304-367-4907. They accept cash, check, and credit cards (by phone or in person).
Once money is applied, it may take between 1-3 hours for your ID Card to be activated with these funds. These funds rollover term to term. A refund may be requested at anytime.
Pre-Paid ID Dollars roll over from semester to semester.
You can request a refund anytime. Please contact Campus Card Services or FSU Student Services in Turley or Pierpont Student Services in Hardway.

Please visit Campus Card Services to check your balance or at any food service register. You cannot obtain your balance over the phone.
Flex dollars are the “dollars” that are associated with the purchase of a meal plan (i.e. MP19). These “dollars” can ONLY be used at the Dining Hall, Nickel, Sub Stand, Wasabi and Starbuck’s Coffee Shop. Flex dollars will be deleted from your ID Card at the end of semesters.

The top level of the parking garage is reserved for faculty and staff. The lower levels are reserved for students.
Students that are registered for classes on the main campus, Gaston Caperton Center, and/or at the Robert C. Byrd Aerospace Center will have access to the lower levels of the parking garage. If the above is true, and your ID Card still does not work, please call or visit Campus Card Services at your earliest convenience.
*Students registered at other off-campus locations and/or with online courses ONLY will not have access rights to the parking garage – this is because a facility fee was not assessed. However, you can visit or call Student Services to pay this fee so you can have access to the parking garage.
For your ID Card to be activated for parking access; you have to pay for parking either through payroll deduction or pay the amount in full. Also, you will need to have a valid decal. If the above is true and your ID card is still not working, please call or visit Campus Card Services at your earliest convenience.

For your ID Card to be activated for Recreation Center access; faculty and staff will have to purchase a membership. Memberships can be paid in full or through pay-roll deduction. Adjuncts do not have the option of payroll deduction.
