Training
Grantees will also be required to complete training for (or show competency in) online course development. This includes aspects of a quality online course and how to use Blackboard Vista 4, the online course management system adopted by the colleges. Appropriate training will include four days of extensive hands-on Vista 4 training. Note that:
As the online course is developed, regularly scheduled work sessions with Learning Technologies center staff and faculty mentors will be required to ensure access to technical and instructional design assistance.
Required Training
Grant recipients receiving awards for the development of a summer course are required to attend training on one of the following sessions:If you Fall grant proposal is accepted, you will be required to attend the Fall Vista Academy.
